Start with a short list

An efficient trip starts before you leave. Write down what the bottles are for (a weeknight dinner, a gift, restocking a favorite) and how many you need. A list of three or four purposes keeps the visit focused and makes it easier for our team to help when you arrive.

Know the style, not only the brand

Brand names are useful, but styles travel further. "A dry red that goes with grilled food" or "a bourbon for sipping neat" gives you more options than one label alone. Keep a photo of the label

When you want one particular bottle, a photo of the front label is the most reliable reference. It captures the producer, the exact expression, the proof or vintage and the bottle size: details that are easy to mix up from memory. Save it on your phone and show it when you ask.
